Product Instructions
You Will Need: 1-1/2 cups of water; 2 tbsp butter; 1/2 cup of 2% milk. Stovetop Directions: Step 1: Heat 1-1/2 cups hot water and 2 tablespoons butter to boiling in a 2-quart saucepan. Step 2: Remove from heat. Stir in 1/2 cup 2% milk and 1 packet potatoes and seasoning mix just until moistened. Let stand about 1 minute or until liquid is absorbed. Step 3: Whip with fork until smooth. For stiffer potatoes, let stand 3 to 5 minutes. Serves 4. *For 8 Servings: Increase water to 3 cups, milk to 1 cup and butter to 1/4 cup. Use 2 packets potatoes and seasoning mix. If microwaving, increase time to 6 to 8 minutes. For Creamier Potatoes: Stir in more milk, 1 tablespoon at a time.
Microwave Directions: Step 1: Stir 1-2/3 cups hot water, 1/2 cup 2% milk, 2 tablespoons butter, 1 packet potatoes and seasoning mix in microwaveable bowl until moistened. Step 2: Cover with plastic wrap, folding back one side to vent. Microwave on high 2 to 6 minutes. Step 3: Whip with fork until smooth. For stiffer potatoes, let stand 3 to 5 minutes. Serves 4. Note: Cooking time is approximate because microwave ovens vary. High Altitude: No changes.
