Product Instructions
Preparation Instructions: Stove Top: Combine rice, vermicelli and 2 tbsp of butter, margarine, or oil in a medium saucepan. Saute over medium heat until vermicelli is golden brown. Add contents of seasoning packet, 2-1/2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Cover reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 5 to 10 minutes, covered, before serving.
Microwave: Combine rice, vermicelli, and 2 tbsp of butter, margarine, or oil in a microwave-safe 2-qt bowl. Microwave uncovered, on high for 1 minute. Stir and microwave on high, for 1 to 2 minutes or until vermicelli is golden brown. Remove from microwave and stir in 3 cups of water, and contents of the seasoning packet. Caution: Dish will be hot. Microwave uncovered on high for 18 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender. Remove from microwave and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Microwave ovens vary. Adjust cooking time as needed.
