Product Instructions
Stovetop Instructions: 1. Cook: Brown 1 pound lean ground beef in a 10-inch skillet; drain. 2. Stir: Stir in 2 cups hot water, 1 cup 2% milk*, sauce mix and uncooked pasta. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. 3. Heat: Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Remove from heat and uncover (sauce will thicken as it stands). High Altitude Instructions (above 3500 ft): Increase hot water to 2-1/2 cups. For a more broth-like sauce, increase hot water to 3-3/4 cups and omit milk. * For a more broth-like sauce, increase hot water to 3 cups and omit milk.
Microwave Instructions: 1. Cook: Crumble 1 pound lean ground beef into 3-quart microwaveable casserole. Microwave uncovered on high 3 to 5 minutes, breaking up beef after 3 minutes, until brown; drain. 2. Stir: Stir in sauce mix, 2-1/4 cups boiling water, 1 cup 2% milk* and uncooked pasta. 3. Heat: Microwave uncovered on high 8 to 10 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes, until pasta is tender (sauce will thicken as it stands). Dish will be hot. High Altitude Instructions (above 3500 feet): Increase boiling water to 2-1/2 cups.
