Product Instructions
Preparation Instructions: Stovetop: Step 1: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in 2-quart saucepan. Submerge 1 unopened bag of rice completely in water and boil uncovered for 10 to 12 minutes. Step 2: Remove bag with fork or tongs. Drain. Step 3: Carefully cut bag open and pour rice into serving dish. Fluff with fork and serve. If desired, add margarine and salt to taste. Note: Prepare 2 bags by doubling water and using 4-quart saucepan.
For best results, use stovetop cooking method. We do not recommend using the microwave to cook multiple bags. For high altitudes, use slightly more water and allow 2 to 5 minutes longer cooking time.

Microwave: Step 1: Measure 4 cups hot water in 2-quart microwave-safe bowl. Submerge 1 unopened bag of rice completely in water. Step 2: Cover bowl and microwave on high 12 to 15 minutes. Remove bag with fork or tongs. Drain. Step 3: Carefully cut bag open and pour rice into serving dish. Fluff with fork and serve. If desired, add margarine and salt to taste. Note: Microwave ovens vary. Cooking time is approximate. Caution: Bowl and contents will be hot.
