Preparation: To make 8 fl oz glass (1 cup): Add 1/3 cup of instant nonfat dry milk to 7/8 cup of water. Stir until dissolved. Refrigerate after mixing. To make 1 quart: Add 1-1/3 cups of instant nonfat dry milk into about 3-3/4 cups of water. Stir until dissolved. Refrigerate after mixing. For best flavor: Store in a tightly sealed glass container and refrigerate overnight before serving. For cooking and baking: Instant nonfat dry milk can be used in place of regular milk in the same amount stated in the recipe. Add This Much Dry Powder: 0.8 oz (about 1/3 cup); To About This Much Water: 7/8 cup; To Yield This Much Liquefied Nonfat Milk: 1 cup. Add This Much Dry Powder: 3.2 oz (about 1-1/3 cups); To About This Much Water: 3-3/4 cups; To Yield This Much Liquefied Nonfat Milk: 1 quart.
