Product Instructions
Flour Tortillas: You Will Need: 2 cups white flour tortilla mix; 1/2 cup warm water. Directions: 1. In a mixing bowl, combine white flour tortilla mix and warm water and mix well. (For electric mixer, use cold water.) If dough is dry, add 1 teaspoon water. 2. Knead dough for 5 to 6 minutes, adding additional tortilla mix if dough is sticky. Place dough in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap or a damp towel to prevent drying and let dough stand for 15 minutes. 3. Divide dough into 8 equal portions for 6-inch tortillas or 6 equal portions for 8-inch tortillas. Shape dough into balls and cover with plastic wrap or a damp towel. On a lightly floured surface, flatten and roll out balls to about 1/8-inch thickness. 4. Cook 30 to 45 seconds on each side on an ungreased hot griddle (400 degrees to 425 degrees F) or comal until lightly browned. 5. Stack cooked tortillas and cover to keep warm. Makes 8 (6-inch) tortillas.
