Product Instructions
Preparation Instructions: Stovetop: Step 1: Bring water to a boil. If desired, add butter or margarine and salt to taste. Step 2: Stir in rice, cover and remove from heat. Step 3: Let stand 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with fork and serve. Servings: Serving Size: 2; 1 cup rice; 1 cup water. Serving Size: 4; 2 cups rice; 2 cups water. Serving Size: 6; 3 cups rice; 3 cups water.
To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or drain after cooking. For best results, use stovetop cooking method. For high altitudes, use slightly more water and allow 2-5 minutes longer cooking time.
Microwave: Step 1: Combine water and rice in a microwave-safe bowl. If desired, add butter or margarine and salt to taste. Step 2: Cover bowl and microwave on high according to the chart or until boiling. Step 3: Let stand 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with fork and serve. Caution: Bowl and contents will be hot. Microwave Cooking Times: 2 servings; 3 min time. 4 servings; 4 min time. 6 servings; 5 min time. Note: Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate.
