Rice is a natural agricultural product. Despite the use of modern cleaning equipment, it is not always possible to remove all foreign materials. Sort and remove foreign materials before cooking.
Product Instructions
Directions: Step 1: Combine rice, water, and butter (optional) in medium saucepan according to chart. Step 2: Season with salt if desired. Bring to a boil. Step 3: Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer 15 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Step 4: Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or drain after cooking.
Note: For high altitudes, use slightly more water and allow 5 minutes longer cooking time.
Servings: 2 - 3: 1/2 cup rice; 1 cup water or broth; 2 tsp butter or oil. Servings: 4 - 6: 1 cup rice; 2 cups water or broth; 1 Tbsp butter or oil. Servings: 8 - 10: 2 cups rice; 4 cups water or broth; 2 Tbsp butter or oil.
