Product Instructions
Boil: Stovetop Direction: Brown: 1 lb lean ground beef in 10-inch skillet; drain. Stir: In 3-3/4 cups hot water, sauce mix and uncooked pasta. Heat: To boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally or until pasta is tender. Remove cover and cook to desired consistency. (For firmer pasta, stir in pasta after heating mixture to boiling. High Altitude: (3500 to 6500 feet): No changes needed.) Microwave: Microwave directions: Crumble: 1 lb lean ground beef into 2-quart microwaveable casserole. Microwave uncovered on high for 5 to 7 minutes breaking up beef after 3 minutes, until brown; drain. Stir: in uncooked pasta, sauce mix and 3-3/4 cups boiling water. Microwave: uncovered on high for 12 to 14 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes, until pasta is tender (sauce will thicken as it stands.) dish will be hot. Caution: bowl will be hot. Because microwaves cook differently, times are approximate. High Altitude: (3500 to 6500 feet): increase boiling water to 4 cups and microwave time to 17 to 20 minutes, stirring every 7 minutes.
